Description

Yaskawa's Bestact™ high capacity 3 and 5 amp reed relays (RI & RZDR- series) offer industry DIP standard mounting format. They have UL/cUL recognition for gaseous Class I, Division 2 hazardous locations or corrosive environments and have been shown to significantly reduce downtime and/or maintenance costs. These relays have pilot duty inductive switch ratings of 360VA (AC), 69VA (DC) and horsepower ratings of 0.5 and 1/8 HP respectively. For low-level loads, they exhibit a wiping action that keeps contact resistance very low and stable. 2 and 4-pole configurations of normally open and normally closed contacts are available - Universal output relay capability. Enables direct control over a wide range from TTL electronic level to large magnetic contactors or DC solenoid valves. - Requires no output relay board. - Quick action in 5ms or less. - Excellent insulation characteristics. Withstand voltage across coil and contact: 200VAC or greater. (Medium-capacity type: 1500VAC or greater). - Automatic wave-soldering and clearing possible. - Small energizing power (Medium-capacity type: 0.4W. Large-capacity type: 0.6W). - Recognized in accordance with USA and Canadian standards. File No. E154773 For Class I, Division 2 Groups A, B, C, D Hazardous Locations.
