Center Drill 60 & deg; (type-D): This indexable center drill is a unique item which was designed with a shorter drill bit in regular angle 60°, exclusively applicable for the tiny drilling and tapping. It offers good value and tool life even 3 times more than above types. Features Ra 0.36 surface finishing on the chamfering surface. Fully grinded insert with great accuracy. Designed in almost zero eccentric, maximum eccentricity ± 0.008mm. The feed speed and tool life are both 4 ~ 8 times greater than solid HSS center drills. Patented foolproof design, the operator can replace inserts without removing shanks from machine and re-centering, still performs ultimate center positioning accuracy. Designed with unique geometry angle on the center engage point which decrease cut resistance and eccentricity, gives excellent center precision and contributes tool life many times better than HSS center drills. Use Tialn on surface coating to the grade for steel and stainless steel materials, it helps in decrease the attrition rate of drill bits and extends the life time. For long deep drilling, it is suggested to perform a peck drilling for improving life time of the indexable carbide drill bit.
