Zaber's ASR Series of microscope stages represent an excellent alternative to manual stages found on upright and inverted microscopes, as well as stand-alone scanning stages operation. They feature a very thin profile and compact design, permitting simple and easy integration into various scanning systems, as well as retrofitting of standard microscope platforms. Crossed roller bearings and hardened stainless steel rails control stage movement, enabling smooth operation, combined with added service life and rigidity. The 12 µm accuracy is ensured by the precision 2 mm pitch lead screws, allowing 2 µm repeatability and up to 85 mm/s maximum speed. The ASR Series uses proprietary, in-house machining techniques for excellent vertical runout, orthogonality, and straightness and is available from 50 mm to 305 mm travel options.
