Barrier valves are used in measuring systems for level gauges, flow meters and industrial automation.
They enable, among other things, disconnection of the measuring installation directly at the tank, in which the medium level is measured, or at the measuring tube.
Valve body - carbon steel or acid-resistant steel
Plug - acid-resistant steel
Connections - for 12x2, 16x3 pipe or with female thread. G 1/2”
Barrier valves are used in measuring systems for level gauges, flow meters and industrial automation. They enable, among other things, disconnection of the measuring installation directly at the tank, in which the medium level is measured, or at the measuring tube.
Barrier valve bodies are made in two material versions: carbon steel (1.0570 – ZWZ 11 and ZWZ 12) and acid-resistant steel (1.4571 – ZWZ 11). In valves, the body with a throttle is made of forged material. The internal parts of the carbon steel stop valves are made of stainless steel and the acid-resistant valves are made of acid-resistant steel, with the exception of the tempered stainless steel needle. Corrosion-prone parts have suitable protective coatings. Ball ends of valves and connection pipes are suitable for welding with pressure pipe Ø12 x 2 mm (ZWZ 11) and Ø16 x 3 mm (ZWZ 12). The barrier valves are equipped with an ergonomic, sheet-metal pressed knob for quick valve operation.
