Zalkin rotary push-in and snap-on cappers for bloc systems use Zalkin’s proven pick and place technology to apply a wide variety of closure types to containers at speeds up to 1,350 cpm (81,000 cph).
With Pick And Place technology, caps are transported single-file via a chute and fed individually into a transfer starwheel with pockets or pegs. The caps are then secured by capping head chucks which then apply the closures using precisely controlled top pressure.
Zalkin's range of solutions includes capping heads specifically designed for virtually every push-in and snap-on cap on the market today. Push-in and snap-on caps include:
• Oriented and non-oriented
• Tethered closures
• Sport caps
• Plugs
• T-corks
• Overcaps
Cap orientation on the container is an increasingly common requirement. Zalkin satisfies these requirements by using a vision system and servo capping heads to correctly align applied closures.
