COUPLERS The external coupler [DAC-E] consists of two parts: a fixed part for connection to the plant and a movable part connected to the pump by means of an optional threaded connecting pipe. The two parts can be connected and disconnected without the aid of tools by means of hook operating on the lever principle. Since this system remains above water level, it can be installed without draining the tank, often a complex, expensive process.
