Custom Overhung Load Adaptors (OHLA®), also known as specials, prevent contamination of hydraulic fluid and eliminate premature motor or pump failure due to overhung loads. Another benefit of OHLAs is that they seal out dirt and grime and permit the removal of hydraulic motors for servicing without disrupting other critical components. Overhung load adaptors are designed with 2-bolt or 4-bolt mounts that meet SAE sizing specifications and are used for various hydraulic applications including forestry, agriculture and road construction.
Zero-Max manufactures custom OHLA with cast iron housings and stress proof steel shafts for durability. We offer SAE and non-SAE standard sizing options and offer speed ranges from 1500 to 3800 RPM to meet a wide range of industry applications.
Our overhung load adaptors feature a sturdy mounting base and can be face- or foot-mounted. Options for OHLA bearings include deep-grooved bearings for standard applications and spherical roller bearings for heavy-duty applications. Our standard input pilot sizes range from 3.250” to 7.00” diameter and output shaft sizes range from 1” to 3-1/2” diameter.
All OHLA specials provide the following features:
Painted, cast iron housing
1144 stress proof steel shafts
Double-lip with garter spring output shaft seals
Fiber gasket input pilot seal
Option of 2-bolt or 4-bolt mounting
Standard grease lubrication
Modification Options for ‘Specials’ Overhung Load Adaptors
Custom overhung load adaptors are designed to meet your pilot diameter and output shaft specifications and adjustments can be made to increase speed.
