The damping capacitors are extremely resourceful devices, geared to safeguard semiconductors and IGBT transistors. The devices conduct extremely high levels of peak current and are thus charged and discharged constantly.
The capacitors are encapsulated in a tough plastic cylinder, secured with PU resin sealing. They are structured from PP film that is reinforced with metal, as per the MKP coating system. This allows the capacitors to conduct extremely high currents with minimal series resistance and self-inductance.
