PP Blind Plug is composed of polypropylene, which has good chemical stability and is a lightweight and corrosion-resistant material. However, its heat resistance is lower than PEEK and is usually used in a lower temperature range; PEEK Blind Plug is composed of polyetheretherketone and is a high-performance engineering plastic with excellent mechanical strength, heat resistance and chemical resistance. They are excellent in terms of performance and can maintain stability at extremely high temperatures.
Application
PP Blind Plug are commonly used in non-high temperature applications such as cold water systems, chemical transportation and low pressure systems; PEEK Blind Plug are often used in more harsh environments, such as high temperature, high pressure or highly corrosive chemicals.
How To Choose PP Blind Plug & PEEK Blind Plug?
Temperature Range:
PP Blind Plug: For low to medium temperature applications (typically between 0°C and 90°C).
PEEK Blind Plug: Suitable for high temperature applications (up to 250°C).
Chemical Resistance:
PP Blind Plug: Good chemical resistance, suitable for most non-polar solvents.
PEEK Blind Plug: Excellent chemical resistance, able to withstand extreme chemical environments.
Mechanical Strength:
PP Blind Plug: Moderate mechanical strength, suitable for low pressure applications.
PEEK Blind Plug: High mechanical strength, suitable for high pressure and harsh environments.
