Pipetting robot LISSY

LISSY is the ideal tool for spotting reagents. With LISSY the reagents are mixed from stock solutions and spotted directly on the wafer, or carbon paper. LISSY for spotting is based on our proven pipetting robot equipped with special two channel spotting tips. The reagents are precisely spotted using one channel and simultaneously dried through the other. The instrument is more precise and faster than spotting the reagents manually. For corrosive reagents we offer chemically resistant spotting probes. For TLC (thin-layer chromatography) this technique has been successfully automated. The sample material can be precisely spotted using one channel and simultaneously dried with nitrogen through the other. The thin-layer plates are positioned in stackable racks, each rack holding 6 plates of 16 spots each. This follows the 96-well format to be maintained. Lissy-TLC is more precise and faster than spotting the samples manually.
