Also known as serving or druck tanks, these are cylindrical vessels with an arched head and “dish” bottom. They are designed for the storage of finished beer under pressure until it is ready to be packaged or served. Available in vertical and horizontal (with inliners) versions.
Tank body
• Tanks are made with torispherical top and bottom bottom
• Service manhole with thermal insulated cover: whatever the position of the manhole you choose, it is perfectly embedded into the tank body leaving no blindsides for a jet of cleaning agents
• Tanks are produced of the stainless steel material: Wnr. 1.4301 (X5CrNi18-10)
• The inside surface is etched and passivated with an average roughness minimum1,0 µm to avoid hardly cleanable infection points inside the tank
Chilling
• Depending on the size, each tank is equipped with 1,2 or 3 cooling jackets
• Cooling jackets are made with advanced technology “pillow” by means of plasma spot welding, which provides high-pressure resistance of the jacket with less material
Coating, thermal insulating
• For more efficient energy saving, all tanks have 100 mm polyurethane foam for thermal insulation with a coefficient of heat loss =24 mW/mK
• Tanks are produced with stainless steel pressure casing effected by means of automatic welding
• Optional outside surface quality
• Basic version of a tank has thermal insulated and coated cylindrical body and bottom
