ZIRCAR Ceramics’ Boron Nitride Coating Type SLICOAT-ES is a water-based dispersion of fine BN crystals. Fast to dry and very easy to apply, SLICOAT-ES provides the benefits of a non-wetting, very lubricious high-temperature coating. Boron Nitride coatings are used extensively in molten metal contact applications. SLICOAT-ES can significantly extend the life of consumable refractories and ceramic fiber products used in continuous casting applications. This can result in cleaner, higher-quality metal and greater profits for your business. SLICOAT-ES Boron Nitride Coating is used as a non-wetting surface treatment in numerous non-ferrous metal contact applications.
