The melting point of zinc selenide is 1525°C, and the thermal conductivity at 298K is 18 W m-1 K-1. The coefficient of thermal expansion at 273K is 7.1 x 10-6 /°C. Therefore, the zinc selenide lens has high thermal shock resistance and can be used in applications with high thermal requirements. The reflectivity of zinc selenide at 10.6 μm (2 surfaces) is usually 29.1%, and our Cvd Znse Lens can be coated with an anti-reflection coating to minimize energy loss.
