Extensometer multiXtens

The Multixtens is a contact-type extensiometer that is suitable for use in performing tensile, compression, flexure and cyclic examinations on plastics, elastomers, metals, composites, rugged foams and many other elements. The unit can be up to sample break, even with peak forces and brittle sample element. The precision of the model is rated at Class 0.5 according to the EN ISO 9513 standards. Its utmost rated error is at +/-­ 1µm in differential movement gauging among two gauging points ranging from 20 µm up to 200 µm, thus meets the requirement of the ISO 527­-1 (2011) standards. To execute compression and flexure examinations, the operator only needs to change the sensor arms.
