Description
The manual notching plane is utilized for notching filled and unfilled plastics specimens, in compliance with ISO 179, ISO 180, ASTM D256, ASTM D6110 and ISO 8256. This manually-operated table-top device is also simple to use.
Further adjustment of the notching blade is not needed, as the blade advance and plane movement are actuated continuously through the side-mounted handwheel. The unit ensures ergonomic operation and low-operating force. It is simple to clean, and stops instantly when attaining remaining width.
