The videoXtens are extensometers that give non-contract measurement of tensile and compression deformations on various types of metals, rubbers, plastics and films together with composites. It has flexible illumination system (incident light / backlight) that can be ideally adjusted to suit the testing situation. Furthermore, it has a pattern recognition that enables the preparation-free testing of specimens with structured surfaces. Alternative preparation of specimens with homogeneous, non-structured surfaces using pattern spray. The unit’s automatic Gauge mark recognition and recording of initial Gauge length is within the unit.
