EN 14432 requirements are very restrictive regarding valve tightness after high number of cycles, and EX knife gate valve successfully passed this specific type test which includes several air and water tightness tests. Moreover, in the specific case of Italy, ORBINOX EX knife gate valve has also been certified with the EN 14432 and the qualification of the production process according to ISO9001 by the Ministero delle Infrastrutture e dei Transporti.
