Bodine Electric Company is a North American manufacturer of fractional horsepower (<1HP/746 Watts) gearmotors, motors and motor speed controls. Established in 1905, and still family-owned, Bodine Electric Company continues to set the standards for quality manufacturing and engineering excellence in the power transmission and motion control industry.
Bodine Electric Company's headquarter in Peosta, Iowa, USA is the home of Bodine’s main component manufacturing and final assembly operations, including motor winding, quality control, and main warehouse. Bodine’s highly skilled manufacturing team utilizes the industry's latest winding, machining, and assembly equipment. Final assembly operations are supported by several manufacturing engineers and a Lean Manufacturing team.
Bodine Electric Company’s other location in Northfield, Illinois, USA is home to design engineering, research and development, engineering labs, sales support, customer service, marketing, and Bodine’s electronic components and control manufacturing operations.
Bodine Electric Company offers over 1,500 standard products, and thousands of custom designed gearmotors, motors and motion controls (fixed and variable speed AC, brushless DC, and permanent magnet DC). Bodine products are available via an extensive distributor network or sold directly to OEMs. Known for their reliability, long life and competitive prices, Bodine gearmotors and motors are designed for demanding industrial and commercial applications such as medical devices, scientific and laboratory equipment, labeling equipment, printing presses, packaging equipment, and factory automation.
