CORNIX

CORNIX® is a family owned limited company, founded in 1958, that specializes since it's foundation in manufacturing and marketing of industrial storage systems. In the fifties bolted systems prevailed (our famous slotted angles of which we are still manufacturing one type for the adepts) but changing storage requirements and ever mounting salary costs needed other systems.

Today CORNIX® manufactures different types of boltless systems that can be easily assembled : boltless shelving system CORNIX PLUS®, long span MINIRACK PLUS, pallet racking TraviRack®, cantilevers and all types of derived products of these systems (drive-in, mezzanines, multi-tier storage, vertical storage, drum storage, mobile storage, workbenches, office furniture, etc.).

On top of that we market a number of products that complete our range for warehouse- and shop fitting systems :

industrial partitioning and office partitioning

a full range of plastic bins

an extensive range of internal transport- & handling systems

archive & office equipment

shelving systems and accessories for shop fitting & showrooms

On 9th February 2009 the CORNIX® group acquired the TRAVHYDRO STORAGE SYSTEMS company. The industrial storage systems manufactured by CORNIX® since 1958 were completed with the range of heavy storage systems of TRAVHYDRO. The TRAVHYDRO systems were fully integrated in the CORNIX® range and in doing so provided former TRAVHYDRO customers with a continuity in deliveries.

The ranges TraviPal® (classic pallet racking), TraviRack® (heavy pallet racking), TraviDrive® (drive-in & drive-through), TraviForm® (heavy mezzanines with long spans), TraviCant® (heavy cantilevers) and TraviRoll® (dynamic storage) of TRAVHYDRO are now a part of the CORNIX® range. TraviTex® is our new range of specialized garment storage systems, including multi-tier installations. The TRAVHYDRO name will disappear in the future and the full range will be marketed under the CORNIX® brand.

24/3/2011 : REDIRACK®, the oldest storage systems company, joins forces with CORNIX®. As from that date the REDIRACK® range of products, i.e. RediRack®'s famous pallet racking system, RediBuild® construction of warehouses, RediDeck®, RediCant®, RediTab®, RediCable®, RediRoll®, RediSpan® & RediDrive® will be manufactured by CORNIX®. The REDIRACK® name continues to exist !! (A small anecdote : the founder of CORNIX® is a former employee of Dexion-RediRack®).

Since both TRAVHYDRO as well as REDIRACK® disposed of an important network of dealers outside Belgium these markets will be handled by our export department at Nivelles. Our foreign customers will be able to acquire both products i.e. CORNIX® (TRAVHYDRO) & REDIRACK® at these dealers. The Dutch market is dealt with direct by our subsidiary in the Netherlands.
