DUBUIS Outillages
Who we are
DUBUIS, a French business company, belongs to the Stanley Black & Decker Group.
It designs, manufactures and markets a wide range of manual & battery powered hydraulic products for the electrical industry, railway, sanitary and aeronautic markets.
DUBUIS takes care about tools manufacturing “Made in France ”, and leans on local subcontractors to get all the flexibility and reactivity for production. The Research & Development and Production activities are integrated in the plant located in Blois, ensuring the know-how control and products quality.
Recognized for its innovative capabilities, over 1000 customers have placed their trust in DUBUIS. DUBUIS markets its hydraulic tooling in France but also over more than 35 foreign countries, livening up long-term partnerships.
Located for more than 65 years in Blois, in the Loire Valley with its Châteaux, DUBUIS is 1h30 South from Paris, accessible by the A10 motorway or by TGV (high speed train).
Our values
QUALITY STANDARDS
- The ISO 9001 certifi cation since 1997, rewarding Dubuis' commitment that has always placed quality as a predominant priority by applying a demanding policy aiming to endlessly improve the quality of its products.
- The ISO 14001 certifi cation since 2009, for its investment in a sustainable development policy aiming to reduce our environmental impact (reduction in energy consumption, preservation of natural resources, prevention of accidental pollution, optimization of sorting and recycling of all our waste, use of environmentally-friendly materials in the production and packaging processes for our products).
- The OHSAS 18001 certifi cation since 2009, promoting its efforts covering occupational safety, health and hygiene and the desire to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for its employees. Therefore, Dubuis makes the safety of its employees its core priority in preventing, controlling and reducing risks related to its activities.
- The EN 9100 certifi cation since 2013 testifying its ability to satisfy the most discerning requirements in the aeronautics sector. This demonstrates our rigorous approach to designing and producing optimum quality products.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
In an industrial world more and more in competition, Research & Development is strategic. Six engineers work in this team, to innovate and give appropriate answers to customers’ requests. Always in the vanguard of technologies, our 3D design and fi nite element analysis resources, enable the creation and development of increasingly effi cient, light, ergonomic and innovative tools. The qualification of the hydraulic tooling relies on a complete testing
program, including operation in harsh environments, impact and drops tests, field tests... This approach ensures the reliability
of the tools. In compliance with outstanding standards and directives, and by a continuous survey on new materials, Engineering Dept designs new
concepts. Patents are applied every year to protect these skills.
INNOVATION
Dubuis bases its developments on Lithium-Ion technology, which it incorporated in its entire range of battery-powered electro-hydraulic tools. This new technology, combined with the company's hydraulic expertise, enables us to offer increasingly compact tools with optimum autonomy. To improve sustainability of our tools over time, a surface treatment by Nickel-Phosphorous auto-catalytic plating (white zinc-plated appearance) is applied to the heads, bodies and other main parts of the hydraulic circuit. This new coating is more robust to climatic conditions by eliminating oxidation, while retaining the mechanical properties of the parts and machining precision. This new treatment is also applied on our die sets for an improved durability.
PRODUCTION
Our technicians are all qualifi ed and skilled: entitled to self-control and responsible of tooling management on their workstation, they carry on the quality of manufactured products. The machines park is adapted to small and medium series, and to all different machining. The integration in the plant of the manufacturing processes and a production management under “one-piece fl ow”, enable an important fl exibility and reactivity.
AFTER-SALES SERVICE
The role of the after-sales service is mainly to repair tools as rapidly as possible and in the best conditions, as well as to provide customer care and technical assistance. The after-sales service analyses the maintenance operations to study, in collaboration with the various technical departments, any improvements that could be made to the products. In 2014, Dubuis created a “Field After-Sales Service” team. This team can visit your company on request.
TRAINING
DUBUIS organizes with customers and preferred distributors, technical and sales trainings for the hydraulic tooling, as well as the other products ranges. The aim of these courses is to give sales support by a better knowledge of product advantages and marketing benefi ts. These seminars allow remaining close to the customers’ requirements.
