The Düker name has been synonymous with premium quality iron casting for more than 540 years. We are among today‘s leading manufacturers of valves and pressure pipe fittings for drinking water and gas supply worldwide, as well as pipes and fittings for drainage technology.

We manufacture highly resistant enamelled components and pipes for the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors. Custom-made casting is another core activity with special-order production of parts for the printing, automobile and mechanical engineering sectors.

In the Laufach works we manufacture our civil engineering product line using ductile cast iron. The valves and pressure pipe fittings are used in water supply and disposal as well as in gas supply. The range includes shut-off valves - gate valves up to DN 300, butterfly valves up to DN 1200, as well as service connection valves and hydrants - for potable water, waste water, raw water, process water or gas. Düker is also a well-known manufacture of ductile iron fittings up to DN 1600, with a very large range of shapes, connections and coatings, up to and including inside and outside enamelling.

Enamelling or Glass-lining is also the secret of the Glass-Lining Technology product sector. This department manfuctures pipeline components made of steel with highly acid-resistant enamelling, including pipes and fittings, bottom outlet valves, columns etc. But the service goes much farther than simple manufacturing: we also offer comprehensive consulting services under the brand name DPI (Düker Partner Industries) including planning, realization, production, installation and commissioning of full pipeline systems.

In the Karlstadt works, we manufacture cast iron drainage pipe systems, used for the evacuation of waste water or storm water from buildings. These may be residential buildings, but the typical application is public buildings such as hotels and hospitals, stadiums, but also industrial buildings and warehouses. Special applications are siphonic drainage of flat roofs as well as bridge drainage. Cast iron drainage pipe systems distinguish themselves by excellent noise protection and non-combustibility.

In both factories we offer customer casting, i.e. casting of items as per customer specification. These castings may be of grey cast iron, ductile (nodular) cast iron or silicon cast iron. From planning, engineering and prototype production to making the moulds and core boxes through to the production of made-to-order small, medium and mass production series including surface finishing: our jobbing foundry team offers a full service package.

We currently employ a staff of well over 650 in our modern Karlstadt and Laufach production facilities, making Düker one of Germany’s largest iron foundries. About ten percent of Düker‘s staff are apprentices. We place a great deal of emphasis on training future talent.

We set our own high quality standards for our products. It is for that reason that we introduced a modern certified quality management system according to EN ISO 9001 as early as 1993. In addition, Düker products have undergone other tests and approval procedures in line with product or market-specific standards or guidelines.
