Polypipe Italia italian manufacturer with brand Effast, part of Genuit group, is a global brand known for its market-leading range of valves and fittings suitable for use within industrial applications. Proudly manufactured in Italy, the company leads the way in the research and development of advanced new solutions that satisfy the specific needs of the market.

OUR HISTORY

Founded in 1984, Effast began supplying pressure piping systems in Genova Italy. 15 years later a factory was built and Effast produced its first Ball Valve. Acquired by Polypipe Group, now Genuit Group, a British manufacturer, in 2000, Effast has since been developing a comprehensive product portfolio in pressure pipe fittings and valves. Today, Effast systems are sold to over 60 countries around the world and can be found in applications such as; food and beverage processing, water treatment, marine, spa and swimming pools, mining, building technology and agriculture.

The health, safety and wellbeing of our people has always been at the forefront of everything we do. The Group and its leadership team has a duty of care to its employees and customers, and the evaluation of risk and taking mitigating actions to protect those employees and customers is very much ingrained in our culture. We invest a large amount of resource into training and good safety practices and processes. We are cerified ISo 45001:2008 from 2021.

SUSTAINABILITY

We strive to ensure the generation of waste – both of plastic and other materials – is minimised, to help develop a sustainable, low carbon, resource-efficient service. We don’t just recycle all our in-process material waste; we monitor every process and adjust the smallest thing to make a bigger difference, whether raw material, electricity or water.
