More than 70 years ago, in a small workshop in Sabadell, the story of EIDE began. In 1953, a group of visionaries came together with the goal of creating power transmission solutions that would stand for reliability and efficiency. We started by manufacturing electromagnetic clutches and spring-applied brakes, without knowing that, over time, EIDE would become a leader in the industrial clutches and brakes sector.

What started as a small family business has grown into a benchmark in the design and manufacturing of industrial solutions. From our facilities in Castellar del Vallès, Barcelona, we have expanded to over 80 countries, always staying true to our commitment to quality and innovation.
