Hot air welding for three generations

Since it was founded in 1977 by Eugen Forsthoff, the family firm has been producing hot air welding technology and accessories for industry and skilled crafts and trades. FORSTHOFF is internationally successful in the meantime and has an impressive place in the market for welding and processing of thermoplastic synthetic materials with needs-based products.

For more than 40 years we have been supplying hot-air devices for professional requirements to virtually all the countries of the world.

Out of the town that has been known for several centuries for the manufacture of sharp blades, knives and scissors, we have been supplying hot-air devices for professional requirements to virtually all the countries of the world for the past 45 years.

At our production site located in Solingen, we carry out the final assembly of our devices and machines, attaching greatest importance to the high-quality processing and assembly of our welding torches, automatic welding machines, air heaters and accessories.

The company´s own developments with e-motors and electronic controls also ensure consistent product innovation. Core segments are hand operated hot air welding machines, automatic welding machines, air heaters and accessories such as for example nozzles and a large range of pressure rollers for tarpaulin processing.

Also consumables of our products, as heating elements and diverse circuit boards are produced by ourselves. This is a guarantee for our customers in regard to a secured availability, quality included.

As our equipment, machines and parts may partly be exposed to extreme permanent loads during their use in industry and trade, we constantly carry out inspections and tests during the manufacturing process.

In the course of the years, we have been able to continuously enhance and improve our range, so that today we can present a perfected product range to our customers worldwide. In addition, we try not only offering the familiar range, but to also provide advice and assistance to our customers and to lend them our support for the development of special designs.
