Who we are
At Laygo we are dedicated to produce the best plate heat exchanger gaskets in the market. We pride ourselves with being the high quality alternative to your regular OEM gaskets
Since 1982, we know what really matters when it comes to PHE gaskets. It is not for nothing that the world's leading companies from industries such as the chemical, food or energy & power industry have been successfully using Laygo® gaskets for their heat exchangers.
The secret behind the sucess of our gaskets is that we at Laygo® do not compromise on quality.
All our gaskets are manufactured in our Cornellà de Llobregat premises, close to Barcelona, using only the best quality raw material. We are the only PHE gaskets manufacturer that makes the rubber vulcanization process 100% in the same press in which the gasket has just been moulded. The benefits of this process are clear: increased chemical resistance; greater heat resistance, perfect chemical bonds (cross—linking), longer elastomer duration, etc.
Other gaskets manufacturers use different post-curing systems, which lead to a lower price product, but the vulcanization of the gaskets will be only external, and they'll be raw in the inside.

NO COMPROMISE ON QUALITY
For the last 30 years we have been manufacturing PHE gaskets. Our policy has always been to spare no effort on quality, so as to obtain better gaskets than those on the market:
- we use rubber of the highest quality, and check each rubber batch in our own laboratory with specifical and thourough tests;
- while producing our gaskets, we make 100% of the vulcanization in the same press; the manufacturing time of each gasket escalates, but with this process we guarantee our gaskets' superior quality;
- we design, develop and manufacture our own moulds, resulting in a perfect fitting of our gaskets; we have nearly 700 different moulds available,
As manufacturers, we are flexible: in our R&D laboratory we develop materials which meet our customers' specific gasket requirements.
With higher quality gaskets, the PHE performance increases, the energy expenses lower, the quality of the final product increases, there are less production shutdowns...
