Since its foundation in 1954 as the first manufacture of portable gas-driving rock drill in Japan, Maruzen Kogyo Co., Ltd. has been manufacturing various tools and machines for more than 65 years.
Based on the spirit of our company “CREATION”, our goal is to become a total development company which offers high-quality tools and gives customized solutions for our customers.

Maruzen has three main manufacturing businesses; small construction hydraulic tools, automobile inspection machines, and wrapping and strapping machines.
Utilizing the knowledge and technology that we have developed over the years in three different fields, Maruzen keeps the share of hydraulic handheld tools more than 90% in the Japanese market.
We have been expanding the Maruzen brand in the domestic market through our 10 branch offices and over 5,000 agents.
Not only selling in Japan, but we have been exporting our hydraulic products to more than 55 countries around the world for many years.

Maruzen is the manufacturer of a finished product that consistently performs market research, development, manufacturing, sales, and after-sale service by its own company. There is a lot of valuable information that we can understand only because we are developing under our own brand. We acquired both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification in April 2007.

1. Product
With many years of experience in the hydraulic tool market, we are experts in hydraulic tools.
Our products are designed based on the concept “Small & Compact” which gave solutions to lots of job sites where big excavators or trucks cannot get in.
We have unique products for professional users.　
For example, Maruzen developed the built-in air compressor hydraulic handheld rock drill for the first time in the world.


2. Development
Maruzen manufactures a wide variety of products in small quantities to meet the diversifying needs of customers, always aiming to be NO.1 and Only 1.
Maruzen’s development can quickly begin since we do research, development, and manufacturing on our own.
Research and development of Maruzen start from getting close to customers.
We cannot meet the actual needs of the customers without seeing how they are working and what they are having trouble with at that moment.
Maruzen always listens to the needs of customers, partners, and markets to develop new products.

Our products have passed several severe durability tests before mass production and we check the performance of all products before every shipment.
