Who we are
Sapal SA (Société anonyme des plieuses automatiques Lausanne) is an international leader in the food industry, and more specifically in the packaging of high-quality products, mainly in the processed cheese (portions and slices), chocolate and bouillon cubes and tablets sectors.
Our company has been operating in Switzerland for over 115 years, since it was founded in 1906.
Sapal SA designs innovative, high-tech, stand-alone packaging machines. Our offer can of course be extended to complete packaging lines.
Our company is sensitive to the issue of sustainable development, and our team of engineers is constantly developing new solutions to keep us at the forefront of technology, while respecting the environment, notably by reducing the amount of packaging materials consumed. In addition, we regularly improve our processes and products to comply with our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification. This has now been successfully renewed until 2026.
