SECOMP Electronic Components GmbH was founded in 1988 by Michael Taraba and Gunther Schroff with the goal of establishing itself as a reliable partner for high-quality products in the fields of IT accessories and networking technology for professional users.

Today, we are among the leading European providers in these areas, offering a comprehensive product range, including IT accessories, networking technology products, surveillance systems, UPS & power supplies, consumer electronics accessories, 19'' racks & accessories, and LED lighting technology.

In addition to distribution and catalog sales, our sales strategy also includes brick-and-mortar retail through a specialized store in Ettlingen, as well as e-commerce operations in Germany, Austria, France, the Czech Republic, and the Netherlands.

Our Ettlingen headquarters employs approximately 100 people. The entire corporate group, consisting of SECOMP Electronic Components GmbH and subsidiaries in Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic, generates a consolidated annual revenue of approximately €100 million with around 170 employees.

Our quality management begins with product selection. Every new product undergoes rigorous testing under real-world conditions in our in-house electronics laboratory. Additionally, each incoming shipment is systematically inspected using a sampling procedure in accordance with DIN-ISO 2859 standards.
